Israel holds parliamentary elections on March 17 and it is an open secret that President Barack Obama supports those running against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Both men have an icy relationship, with Netanyahu opposing Obama’s efforts to reach a nuclear deal with Iran and fuming about his criticisms of Israeli settlement construction. Netanyahu addressed the U.S. Congress yesterday, but President Obama refused to meet with him.
