Extemp Central exists for the benefit of the extemp community, providing questions, resources, results, interviews, and the history of this great speaking event. Keeping with the mission of the website as a “free” alternative for extempers everywhere, all of the content on the website can be accessed without becoming a subscriber. However, the site does have costs in terms of the time devoted to the project to give teams across the country, and even the world, access to these materials.
As such, we kindly ask that you donate to keep the project running on a yearly basis. All funds are put back into the site and pay for subscriptions to periodicals that help to write questions, quizzes, and other resources. Also, funds are used for the trophy for the National Points Race at the end of the year. Obviously, the more money raised is more money for the website and encourages the creation of more resources.
