The qualification board for the 2016 Extemporaneous Speaking Tournament of Champions (TOC) has been updated to reflect the results of all of the fall semester tournaments. The Extemp TOC will take place on May 6-8, 2016 in Evanston, Illinois on the campus of Northwestern University. The Extemp TOC is a third tier tournament in the National Points Race and is the second major tournament of the season.
Note that this year’s TOC has different qualification requirements, with state finalists now only receiving one leg for making their state final round as opposed to receiving an automatic qualification. We still need state tournament results from last year’s contests in Hawaii, Kansas, Michigan, North Dakota (Class B), and Tennessee, so if you have those, please send them our way.
