The 2014-2015 Extemp Central National Points Race standings have been updated to reflect the results of the Extemporaneous Speaking Tournament of Champions (TOC) at Northwestern University. To access the standings, you can click on the National Points Race tab on the right of the main page or click here.
The next National Points Race event will occur at the end of May at the National Catholic Forensic League (NCFL) Grand National Tournament. This event will be a third tier competition, with the winner receiving 100 points and all competitors that reach quarter-finals will receive points. After NCFL Nationals, the top twenty-five in the standings will be used to evaluate whether International or United States Extemp will receive the fifty points bonus at the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) National Tournament. NCFL Nationals will also determine which competitors have a mathematical chance of walking away with this year’s National Points Race title.
