The qualification board for the 2012 Extemporaneous Speaking Tournament of Champions has been updated to reflect the results at the St. Mark’s Heart of Texas Invitational.
Seven extempers qualified to the Extemp TOC at St. Mark’s, bringing the total number of qualifiers for this year’s TOC to 139. Kansas leads the qualifying list with 24, but Texas, which had more qualifiers than any other state last year, climbed into second place after having seven extempers qualify at St. Mark’s. This weekend, the Titan Invitational at Nova Senior High School and the Cal-State Fullerton High School Tournament were qualifiers.
