The first qualification board for the 2012 Extemporaneous Speaking Tournament of Champions has been posted. This qualification board reflects the results of the 2011 Extemporaneous Speaking Tournament of Champions and all state results that have been collected thus far that occurred after April 14, 2011.
Thirty-four extempers qualified to the Extemp TOC under this criteria and the first qualification board shows that 34 extempers have already qualified to next year’s tournament. These extempers represent fourteen different states and for the time being Hawaii has the most qualifiers with six. California is in second place with five qualifications.
If there are any state results that have not been posted to Extemp Central, please send them to me at logan.scisco@topper.wku.edu so that we can post them here, update the qualification board and our state champions page, and assemble a state champion roll call at the end of the season.
