The qualification board for the 2011 Extemporaneous Speaking Tournament of Champions has been updated to reflect the results of the 2011 New Mexico, Texas, and Kentucky State Tournaments. All of the finalists at these tournaments earned automatic qualifications to the 2011 Extemporaneous Speaking Tournament of Champions under category 2C. All of the finalists at the Florida Forensic League’s State Tournament in United States or International Extemp had qualified to the TOC under other categories.
Seventeen extempers qualified to the Extemp TOC last week, bringing the total number of extempers qualified to the TOC at 324. New Mexico made its first appearance on the qual board with year with eleven qualifiers, Texas added four, and Kentucky added two.
