2011 Extemp TOC: TOC Qual Board is Updated to Reflect the Pennsbury Falcon Invitational and the Apple Valley Minneapple Speech Tournament

The qualification board for the 2011 Extemporaneous Speaking Tournament of Champions has been updated to reflect the results of last week’s Pennsbury Falcon Invitational and the Apple Valley Minneapple Speech Tournament.  We appreciate those tournaments posting their results online so that we could update our qual board.

Four extempers qualified to the Extemp TOC last week and Arvind Trivedi from Wisconsin, who we forgot to add under category 2B for breaking at last year’s NFL National Tournament in United States Extemp, was added to the qual board.  These five qualifiers have brought the total number of extempers qualifying to 220.  Pennsylvania gained the most qualifiers with two, while Minnesota, New York, and Wisconsin added one.  Three extempers earned their first TOC leg last week and the total number of potential qualifiers now stands at 306. This weekend the only qualifying tournament is the Stanford University Tournament.  There are only three weeks left to qualify for the Extemp TOC under category 3 and there will be four TOC qualfying tournaments taking place next week. If anyone is attending Stanford and can send us the names of elimination round participants and subsequent results we would appreciate it.
